Anonymous Donor Policy
The purpose of this procedure is to allow for anonymous donations to the Yuba River Charter School assuring a high level of confidentiality. This procedure sets forth guidelines and directions for the handling of anonymous donations and donation solicitation.

Acknowledgement of Donors
Anonymous donors will be acknowledged as a group.
Solicitation of Donors
When a fundraising drive is launched anonymous donors will be contacted by the business manager regarding new donations.
In addition, all YRCS parents and potential donors will be contacted during the annual pledge drive, capital campaign and other fundraising events by the designated fundraising group. As the fundraising group has no knowledge of anonymous donors, anonymous donors that are parents or previous donors will also be contacted by the fundraising committee. Anonymous donors are welcome to give an additional amount through this process and will be individually acknowledged.
Internal Processing Procedure
The business manager will make the bank deposit of anonymous donations and issue tax receipt letter to donor. The business manager will notify the Ed Foundation treasurer when a deposit is made. A copy of the tax receipt will be kept by the business manager in a secure location.
